Just being with other families who walk this walk— there is a closeness there that you don’t (can’t) share with someone else. Being surrounded by other families like us was a breath of fresh air.
Realizing that other people have the same issues, and other people handle them in different ways. No way is right or wrong, just different ways of handling everything, gave me the confidence to do what’s best for me and my family.
Kelle’s workshop was a wow experience. It was an intense, warm and beautiful time together.
The fellowship with the families and the new friendships and bonds created with the other dads was truly one of the most special things I’ve experienced.
The friendships made were amazing, and how comfortable everyone was almost immediately. It was like we had known each other forever.
I think he just loved being around all the kids, including the ones with and without Down syndrome.
A wow surprise was all of our kiddos doing a painting class with @SevyMarieArt. An experience we will never forget.
